Firstly, I just want to say that I really hope the fire at the Cutty Sark wasn't deliberate. And if it was, may the culprits suffer a devastating house fire that destroys everything they own.

And on that topic, here's a small fire-related family titbit for you. I'll put it under a cut because it involves the death of an animal. Be warned; it isn't nice.




I do actually have a very twisted family and there really is a reason that I don't like most of them. Many reasons, in fact. Maybe I'll let you in on some of it over the next few months. I feel like talking.

I have an uncle - one of many - who was a young pyromaniac. He's my grandad's son. He lit fires wherever he went and even once burned down grandad's train set; it was one of those huge, replica ones that fills up a whole room. B burned it to the ground.

Then, one night, he set light to what he thought was an empty barn. Only it wasn't empty. The barn burned to the ground and a bull burned with it. He said to me once that he could still hear it screaming - it sounded human.

He never lit another fire again.

Now he's grown up, he's an upstanding citizen he's on the run from the police for a string of fraud offenses and has been for literally decades.

I don't know why I told you all that. Felt like story time, I guess.



In other news, Ive made my very first Drarry banner and changed my layout colours to match. I'm quite pleased.

I have a bunch of crazies hanging off my family tree too, but no pyros, as far as I know.

I always thought bad apples were supposed to drop off, but they just keep hanging on. I guess it happens when the whole tree is crazy :oD
