On my way home from work tonight, about a hundred yards or so from my house, I glanced out of the bus window - wondering why the traffic was so bad and why there was a blue flashing light - and saw THIS

Whoa!!!

A 30 ton HGV!! Sticking out of a house!!!!!!! That's scary. Bloody scary.

Of course I had to take my dog out for a walk so I stolled back for a closer look. That is a lot of damage. I really feel for those poor people. Looks like they'll be homeless for christmas.

But hey, thank all the powers that no-one was hurt. Jesus.

Sheesh!!
What a mess.

You know what's funny? The news article kept harping on the fact that 'the televisions were dislodged'!! Like that was the worst part of the whole ordeal.
Heeee!

I'm so glad you're okay! That looks so scary!!

And what, they're just leaving the lorry in the living room until tomorrow? Gads.

Yup, they removed the truck the next day. The house is all borded up now. Still no word on what actually happened.

O_o;; thank god nobody was killed but can you imagine coming home to that?

So sorry ma'am but you're living is currently occupied by a lorry, you might want to stay at a hotel tonight. I wonder who's going to pay for the damages?

It must be awful!!!!

I guess it all depends on how the accident happened. I assume the owners house insurance will pay initially and then possibly try to claim from the driver's company. If it was his fault. And, well, the house didn't hit him!
