So, what has Suki been up to this week? That is the question and I can tell that you are all on the edge of your seat with anticipation of the answer.
This week I have...done absolutely nothing.
I went to work. I came home. I went to work. I came home. Etc.
Oh, you'll all be very proud of me, though. You know the person, the 'friend', that I was having all the trouble with? I finally managed to say 'NO'. she asked for my new cell phone number (which I changed because of her) and I said...wait for it...NO. Hee! Proud? She took it very well, actually. She stomped off at first, but after five minutes she was happy, happy and said no more about it.
And then Bigballs tried to poison me with mustard sandwiches. She'd bought mustard in a squeazy bottle and got over excited with it. I had heartburn. Meep. :o(
Lots of packages have been arriving this week from my HUGE splurge on Ebay: Btvs comics and graphic novels mostly. It's very exciting. Christmas is coming every day!
I'm broke.
I'm destitute.
It's all my own fault.
I don't really care because I still have my health and my very own Spike and Xander.
Is anyone else watching Lost? I'm d/l the current season because here in England we're still on season 1. I've just joined some Lost coms 'cos, wow, so many theories. I'm loving the series so much. It really is like the old days of Twin Peaks, comparing notes and huddling at lunchtime to try and figure out who killed Laura Palmer. ~sigh~ Good times. So, any of you lot got a Lost theory you care to share? What *is* the island? What did Kate do? Why isn't Jack married anymore? What's the deal with Walt and who wants to shag Sawyer?
ME!
So, that is pretty much it for my exciting week, apart from buying a bag of carrots for the dog and accidentally hoovering the cat (ooops).
Love you all!
~hugs~

Date: 2005-10-13 02:11 pm (UTC)My dogs *love* carrots, but people seem to think that's odd. And apples. The never get people food, but they get carrots and apples daily as treats.
It cool someone else does that too.

Date: 2005-10-13 02:21 pm (UTC)The important part is to let them know that the skin is not the flavor that the whole apple is. If you cut one in half, offer it cut side down, so his tongue touches the apple itself and gets the flavor. They aren't very impressed with the skin's flavor, but they will eat the skin if you can get them interested in the apple.
Fiber is good for dogs, too.

Date: 2005-10-14 02:51 am (UTC)Indy loves Branflakes too. His vet advised that we put them in his dinner to bulk it out. He's on a diet, you see.

Date: 2005-10-18 09:17 pm (UTC)To remedy the craptasticness, I bought extra userpics. Had no BtVS/AtS, so had to remedy *that* too.
Um, I saved the Xander WTF? and the Angel(us) Evol one. Thought I'd tell you here.
And re: lost... I watch it here on my nights off... We're in S2, I think... What *is* the island? What did Kate do? Why isn't Jack married anymore? What's the deal with Walt and who wants to shag Sawyer?
Um... I'd like to shag him. And Charlie. And Jack, and Sayid. But I don't think you wanted to know that?
And the island is crazy. That's what the island is. Absolutely friggin nuts.
I missed last week (blush) so I'm a bit out of the loop. But it is AWESOME when I do remember to watch, instead of reading Spander on the net. Bad Sarah. No cookie for me.
*snerk* My brain is fried. Away I slink.

Date: 2005-10-19 12:14 pm (UTC)As for Lost, I have to download it 'cos here in England we're only halfway thru the 1st season.
I'd shag them all too. Except maybe not Charlie. I'd like to mother him. He's so cute.
Do you have any Lost theories yet?
hmmm... theories.
Date: 2005-10-19 12:21 pm (UTC)I'm really leaning towards the whole "it's an experiment" kind of thing, with the idea that they're trying to do something to the stranded passengers... government conspiracy/experimentation is what I'm leaning towards. There'll be more tonight to watch... but I don't know how far you are with the current airings... I don't want to spoil things for you.
Missed a couple of weeks, though because of stress and plot bunnies for Btvs, so have to look at episode transcripts.
Re; Charlie? Let's just put it this way. There isn't a one of the hobbits from LOTR that I wouldn't shag. ;)
Re: hmmm... theories.
Date: 2005-10-19 12:28 pm (UTC)I think it's an experiment too. I also think it has something to do with the magnetic poles. Polar north and south. I'm not sure how or anything, it's just a tiny idea that I'm developing.
I'm bang up to date with the episodes. I download them the day after they air in the US.
Have you joined any of the Lost LJ communities? Yhey have some interesting ideas.
Re; Charlie? Let's just put it this way. There isn't a one of the hobbits from LOTR that I wouldn't shag. ;)
I think I'd shag Frodo. He has lovely eyes. It's always the eyes!!!
Re: hmmm... theories.
Date: 2005-10-19 12:37 pm (UTC)No, I haven't joined any LJ comms. Hell, I haven't even joined any BtVS comms on LJ either.. well, GC, but thats it. I'm also on your yahoo group, but under a diff name. I think I'm only in a few comms, and I'm an active poster in next to none. The muses dried up, either that, or I'm trodding road already trod, you know? I hate unoriginal plots, so I refuse to publish any that I feel are unoriginal...
My eyes are v. dark brown, so I have a thing for green/blue/grey eyes. A *big* thing. Like... heaps of crushes on the blue eyed... especially if they have a foreign accent. (FYI, I'm from Texas, so yes, that means where you are counts as foreign.) When I went to Europe, I was in heaven, crush-wise. Too bad I had to come back for uni.
