Just in case you guys missed the announcement over at amejisuto's journal, the two of us have decided to pull out of summer_of_spike.

We didn't make the decision lightly. In fact, we spend quite some time discussing it and making sure that we came to a decision that was right for us.

At the end of the day, we just weren't comfortable posting at a community that would not appreciate all our work (and yes, the two us have been working bloody hard). We are used to a community where the members and the mods have clear respect for each other.

However!!!! And this is the good bit. We will still be posting on our date of 28th Aug. Actually, we have so much for you that we will be posting over that whole weekend. Between us we have an joint angsty fic, Dead!Buffy, Killer Kumquats, Hedgehog!Spike, PWP Spike/Faith, icons and more! Gonna be fun!!! Squeeeeeeee!

Oh, and sorry I've not been on LJ for few days. I was reading, then I was unwell, then my muse struck and wouldn't let me go. Sorry!

I completely understand why you and Ame pulled out and I support you. I wouldn't want to participate in something that ceased to be fun and started to be more of a pain in the ass.
