You know those blowy things people have at birthday parties, what would you American folks call those? Just to clarify, you put them in your mouth just after your shout 'Surprise!' and they make a noise. They're annoying but fun.

I'm writing a Nightwing/Robin fic and I totally blame darkhavens for the BatFlash section.

In other news, I'm very hot. I have a sweaty bum.

Noisemakers, lol! I like that. I would never have guessed that was what a noisemaker was. I would have thought it would be one of those rattling things people have at football matches. You know, when they sort of swing them around ... I suck at describing things today.

Do you think it will be hot this time next week? ~g~ We may need a trip down the river to cool us down.

Unofficially they're just called noisemakers. Order them online and they'll call them "Party Blow Outs". The other one people commonly use at parties is the kazoo.

You should so read the comics. Nightwing is incredibly hot and so is Robin (Tim) now that he's grown up a bit. If you're into downloading there are places you can get the comics for free.

I have no solution to the sweaty bum problem, just commiserations. I am on my way to work an extra shift and so will shortly be suffering the same annoyance. Yick. I think a cool shower will be waiting for me when I get home. And then there's more Batflash to be written!

You have turned the enabling back on me! Oh well, it's good that I can finally write something again. I started writing an ickle Dick/Tim ficlet this morning and 4000 words later I've got a whole fic complete with comedy, angst, BatFlash, and Dick/Tim smut :oO It's called Dick's Tips. Hee!

I carry a notepad and pen with me so I can take notes at work, and then go into speedy scribble mode on my break. If I could just find a desk job instead of working in retail hell, I'd be set. *g*
