I suggest you read everything that Katherine has written. She is an amazing writer. She is also know as KSL and has some stories on http://www.ncisfiction.com/ that have not been posted to her website yet... plus her home page is a geocities site and they are closing soon. She also archives her NCIS fiction on WWOMB.


As to your other rec Xanthe also has some amazing NCIS stories out there They should also be available at her site.

I've only seen the odd episode of NCIS but I really like the old guy (old guy -- listen to me) who used to be in Chicago Hope. I've just seen him in Freaky Friday... There's something really sympathetic about him, whatever he plays.

Oh my god, I love McShep so much. But for me it took some time to arrive at that conclusion. Half my flist disappeared off into that fandom and they raved about the John and Rodney love. I didn't get it.

You need to watch the first series and I guarantee you'll see it by the end. It took me until the 12th Episode where, approx a minute and a half into it, my heart wetn boom-titty-boom and the McShep love hit me square in the face. I promise you, the love is there to be found!

I swear to god you read my mind ^_^ I was just looking for NCIS recs last night. Something about the Season finale this year put me in the mood for some Gibbs/Tony... that and the fact I ran into Mark Harmon at my work a couple weeks back and I have to say that man is smoking hot in person, it was all I could do to remain professional and not squeal like a rabid fangirl and run around in circles.

I work at a Barnes & Noble bookstore here in LA as a head cashier so every once in a while I'll run into famous and semi-famous people shopping. I have a strict personal policy of not treating any celebrities different than regular people so as to not make them feel uncomfortable so I didn't really get to talk to him except to ring him out at the register. We had a massive line at the time and he was there with his son too, so I took the high road and didn't say anything about being a fan. Inside though I was squealing like a maniac. I spent the rest of my shift riding the high ^_^

Hey! I don't bemoan the bunnies!

I just covertly send, poke, herd and tempt her into the direction of other people, so my 'intented to be cute, fluffy, little story' that developped, with her feeding, in the 'planning stage of a series' and met a friend that wanted to be written too (it was only one little challenge before talking to her), doesn't get any longer and I get to finish some fic.

If I were inclined to be responsible, I would admit that the third one I'm partly to blame, but as I am not... *points to MJ and a reviewer" THEY were feeding the bunnies again.

SUKI, free us from some bunny feeding please!

PS - because MJ was anxious no-one talks with her on LJ anymore if Nell and I keep blaming her:

Yay for NCIS!!! I love Tony/Gibbs too! But Tony is my absolute favorite..

Posted this like a year ago. It lists my favorite NCIS site and a really neat, really really really long multi chapter fic too. I don't remember off the top of my head what happens in the fic other than Tony/Gibbs and they don't die.... There is a scene in one of the chapter about silk boxers though!

I second/third etc. the rec for any of Katherine/KSL's NCIS fic. She's on the sequel to an excellent fic where DiNozzo leaves after the ep 'requiem' (season 4 i think). It's posting at the ncisfanfiction archive. I re-read her stuff all the time.

Ditto on Lady Ra who I also love & re-read often. She recently posted a new NCIS fic called "history."

I think these recs edge a little more towards the 'softer' fics, more romance and h/c type stuff.

Belladonna has written some good NCIS fic, among other fandoms. One of my favorites is called "sweet child of mine".

Annie B. at the Brothers in Arms archive has more than a few NCIS fics, quite nice.

Richefic on Fanfic.net writes some very nice gen NCIS. Heavy on the father-son dynamic with gibbs & dinozzo.

I seem to recall Juli wrote some nice NCIS fic. I haven't seen anything new from her lately though. "the second b is for belonging' is a good kate era fic.

I find her website to be a bit difficult to navigate, so I use her LJ mostly.

In her Geometry Series, which I worship, she has created 3 of the most well-written OCs I have ever encountered--joshua, stephen, david. I would happily read fic just about joshua/stephen who we meet in a NCIS case fic called "Line of Sight." Eventually the series is DiNozzo/omc. Truly wonderful series.

Ironically, I'm seeing this post just after finishing Parity Transformations and was planning to pounce on blueraccoon and make her read it because we're always looking for good examples of well-written and well-used OCs. Kasen and James are both complete adorable, and you do a fantastic job mixing the backstory with the current events between Draco and Harry.

For the recs of NCIS, Becc/Blueraccoon has a *lot* of Tony/Gibbs, tagged in her sidebar, and as kaleecat said, Geometry is worth reading. She was one of the first, or the first writer in NCIS to do fics with extensive BDSM dynamics and there are few writers in any fandom that I've seen handle them as brilliantly and realistically as she does. Skip her comprom site and go directly to her LJ, it's far more up-to-date. Edited to add: Geometry is *not* Tony/Gibbs. Pavlov, however, does have a heavy Tony/Gibbs component.

Nix/crimsonquills is also worth checking out. She's stopped writing in the fandom to pursue other interests, but her Myths and Revelations series is pretty well-regarded. She was part of the kind of first wave of writers for Tony/Gibbs, and has fantastic AU settings.
