I want to rec Jigsaw Cuts by [livejournal.com profile] velvetwhip. It's Spander and it's fabulous. Beautiful writing that's so clearly right from the author's heart. All too often Spike and Xander are written as cardboard, cliche characters, but this is the complete opposite of that. All from Spike's POV, he's canon, believable and perfect.

I don't want to spoil anything for you, but I will warn that this is angsty, proper ouchie that hurts my very soul. Do remember that I'm a wuss, though. Also remember, the end isn't always the end.

It was truly wonderful. I see the ending as a good one, very positive. I have the whole 'What happened next' scenario in my head, lol.

Velvetwhip is a writer I wish wrote more spander and xangel. We're lucky she gives us what she does!

I agree! And, boy, do I need more Xangel. I think if there was more quality Xangel around it would pull me right back into the fandom properly.

Oh, sweetie, I think it's just wonderful. I'm not normally big into angst, but I loved this so much. The end was a punch in the gut, beautifully done and extremely powerful. I really hope you write more Spander, or maybe some Xangel, in the near future.

And thanks for the clicks!

I'm willing to say it's possible. I've written very little Xangel, as you know, but a drabble might happen. I kind of owe you for all the pimpage and kind words.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Well, I would say you really don't have to do that, but ... I'm not gonna. Not when there's Xangel on the cards! LOL!

Hee! Yes, I require fluff also. It was beautiful, though.
