Talk to me. Where the hell did that come from and is there any truth to it, because I'm not sure I'll be able to watch it if it's true. It's just a rumour, yes? BS? Total bollocks?

No, I feel utterly beside myself at just the very thought of it. This actually feels worse than when I thought Spike died in Angel and when I was worried that JKR would kill off Draco. This is ... devastating. From what I've gathered just today, no one has directly said he's going to die, but something awful is going to happen.

I heard this a few days ago. Although what I heard then was that it would be Ianto or Rhys, and that apparently it came from someone who wasn't a troll.

I won't lie, it would devestate me. But I'd still watch. And kick Gareth's ass at the Hub 2.

Anyway, I'm trying really hard not to think about it, because so much is getting me down lately and I'm just fed up. So I'll live in happy ignorance for now, haha.

During the "Intimate encounter" I participated in at the Hub Gareth said that if they do get the go ahead for season four he really wants to be part of it, if his other commitments allow it. This prompted a question regarding Ianto surviving season three alive. Gareth's response to this was that since it's sci-fi, anything is possible.

Don't know how to interpret his answer...I don't think I could handle it either if Ianto doesn't survive season three. It was already hard enough to lose Toshiko and Owen last season

Here's an idea to ponder. Anyone here a member of Sylum. One of the ways they kept Speed alive was making him a vampire and the stories grew from there. I can suggest that Ianto and Ryhs both be turned and made members of the Camelot Clan. Then someone could write stories about these two. A;so having them take mates. I don't know Torchwood very well but someone who does can probably give it justice.

No idea how true - but as they've got an agenda i think (i.e. making gay relationships acceptable to the mainstream) that would go totally against that! And apparently we learn more about his family etc. So yeah, seriously thinking its rubbish!

I so hope it's rubbish. Everything I've heard and seen so far totally contradicts this. The family thing, like you say, plus TW Magazine says that more of the Jack and Ianto love story unfolds.

Ooh I'm glad you brought it up. I didn't know how to on LJ without possibly spoiling people who didn't want to know about it (you did very well!)

I'm pretty worried too - it would really be horrendous. Ianto's my absolute favourite character. I'm so thrilled we find out more about him in S3, and I love the sound of the new characters, esp hottie Dr Rupesh, so even with Tosh and Owen going I was still really looking forward to Season 3. Please don't let them bollocks that up!

I was feeling all thrilled too! We get to hear about his background, his family, we get relationship development with him and Jack. But this really will fuck it all right up!! I just don't know what to make of it. I have an awful feeling that these rumours have stemmed from somewhere and even if he doesn't die, something bad is going to happen.
