John's album arrived today. Yays! And it's very good! It's actually better than Another Side. Music, Music, Music seems to have more energy. It's more poptastic. My favourite tracks so far are What About Us? which is the song Gary Barlow wrote for him, and the duet with Daniel Boys, I know Him So Well, which is just utterly fantastic.

For any one interested in hearing the duet here's John and Daniel performing it live. I Know Him So Well

In other news, my dragon eggs developed soft shell and had to be fogged. But they're okay now and sitting happily on my profile page awaiting some love.

OMG HAI THAR SEXY! =D YOU OKAY BB?

Also, I feel like the only woman alive who feels blah about Daniel Boys. I prefer the solo version. Everyone on my f-list raves about the man, but I don't feel it.

Hiya, honey bee!

I really love the song. Daniel's got a lovely voice and it blends well with John's. He's quite a cutie! No worries, hon, he might grow on you!

I love the JB/DB duet! Still haven't heard the Gary Barlow song. *wanders off in search*

Your eggs looks hale and healthy now. It was just a blip on the learning curve.

The duet was fantastic! I've listened to it a thousand times over now. Hee! I think you'll like the GB track. It's fabulous too, and now I want to John to do an album of original stuff because he's really got it in him to carry off a well-written song.

Yay for eggies! I LOVE my eggies!!

I've watched the 'what about us' YouTube video about a million times. I'm so jealous that you've got the cd already. I figure it will start showing up here in the States after new years in the amazon shops. The duet is pretty good too--it doesn't hurt that its one of my favorite songs from the musical "Chess."

I haven't picked up another side yet, but its on my christmas list.

Dragon Eggs? I'll go check them out. I love dragons.

I love that video! Yeah, I should think you guys will get it very soon. It's an excellent album. Highly recommended, along with Another Side.

The dragons are so much fun!

ooh, those are my favorite songs too. How'd I get the CD first? And I agree, it's better than Another Side. Although I do like that one too...the only one I'm not fond of is the Andrew Lloyd Weber one but that's more about not liking his plays than JB's singing...

Glad your eggs are doing okay again.

I didn't order mine until the day it was released, slow off the mark, I'm affraid. The ALW one is good, as is the Broadway one, but I prefer AS and MMM. It's just a preference for the songs and the quality of the recording, I think.

I'm very pleased with my little eggies!

That could be the problem. Mine shipped last saturday and I got it on Wednesday...Just in time to force my entire family to listen to it on Thanksgiving. :) And yeah, it's more a song preference for me too. AS, MMM, and the Cole Porter music are just songs I like more.

Personally, I love most of the songs on it. The kids love Anything Goes, Don't Fence Me In (which they've decided is appropriate to sing when they get told no), and One of those things.

I can upload it for you if you'd like. I have it all on my iPod...

Sounds like I'll have to get it!

I think I'll buy it anyway so no worries. My grandad has given me some money to get a few bits for Christmas. But thank you anyway. ~smooches~

Cool. Assuming you like the 40's type of music you'll probably like it.

Honestly, I'll listen to anything with a good tune/beat or vocal. And, well, it's John. I'll have to get his cast recordings, too.

Funny how "It's John" is an acceptable excuse for things...I mean it's the only excuse I can give for actually renting and watching Shark Attack 3: Megalodon...

I did wonder what had happened to your eggs. *g*

I love that song, and I love it even more sung by JB. I have never heard of the other guy, but he has acceptable pipes too. :D
