You have got to be kidding me? First DT leaving Doctor Who and now this shit, all in one week. I totally get the DT thing and good luck to him, but DC, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?!?!?!?!?

booster17 tell me DC are pulling another fast one, maybe a temporary suspension of the titles while the consequences of R.I.P plays out. Tell me they're bringing my Nightwing back! And Robin, oh god, I can't live without it!!!

I'm preparing to go into deep mourning.

That sucks! Since Nightwing sells fairly well, I think they'll probably retool it and bring it back, rather than killing it completely. But still.

I hope so. Nightwing has never sold so well as now and Tomasi is a wonderful writer. The title is the best it's ever been. If they're not going to re-launch it, I shall be so annoyed at their stupidity. I may switch to Marvel ~gasps!~

I'll only say 2 things:

1) From the time I was offered the assignment, I knew what the plans were for both the title and the character. I would never have taken the job if I didn't like it. I care about the character too much to do anything I disagreed with.

2) The fun isn't ending, it's only just begun.

That's all for now. I'm finishing the script to #183 this week and I think it will kick some bittersweet ass, serving as both a respectful end to what Chuck, Tom, Tom and Mike started years ago AND as a new beginning...

Shit, it's all very confusing. I don't want Dick to be Batman, at all, but he seems the only sensible choice. Tim or Damien? No way. If Bruce has to be replaced, for however long, it will have to Jason (who I do actually like; don't throw anything at me!), but I can't see Dick or Tim going for that.

I don't know, but I'm very scared! They've said his book is being cancelled in Feb, but I know nothing more than that yet. I just hope they don't kill him off or anything. I will have to seriously re-consoder my DC subscriptions if they do.
