You need to read this post (http://volaremn.livejournal.com/3440.html) and the comments too. It appears to be Rachel Luttrell who's pregnant, so the writers are considering making Teyla pregnant too, instead of reducing her screen time and/or reducing her camera presence to headshots (and presumably backshots).

There's a comment thread down the bottom that makes me want to write and thank Rachel for getting pregnant and derailing the writers' plans - there were going to make Rodney a dad. *pauses for the horror to soak in* THEY WANTED TO MAKE KATIE BROWN PREGNANT.

Oh! I see! Well, congrats to her. My goodness. If they reduce her to headshots and such, her role will be very limited. How is she gonna kick butt?

Rodney a dad? with Katie? Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! Kitty and I was only just saying wouldn't it be good if Rodney and John raised Teyla's baby, but I guess I would have made do with Katie dying in childbirth.
