Rocky Horror Show

BB and I went to the Rocky Horror Show again, accompanied by her aunt H. The show was in Brighton this time as opposed to Richmond so, as we suspected, loads more people attended in costume. There was rather a high number of men in stockings and suspenders, which was nice (~g~)and the audience participation was awesome and so bloody funny.

We had such a fab time and luckily I was just about over my sickness with only a thick head remaining. My feet still fucking hurt, though. We parked, like, about a mile away so it was a long trek, which was fine for H who had on PJ's and Spider Man slippers (and mouse ears) but no so much fun for BB in her tap-style shoes and me with my kinky boots. Ouch. It also tells you something about the town you're in when you can walk around it in a french maids outfit and only get the odd compliment and a couple of blinks instead of getting beaten up. :oD

We didn't take any piccies there, but a few others did and they're up on the official site. WANNA SEE?

you're soooo lucky. i haven't been to Rocky Horror in about a year or so. mostly because my husband (also a fan) was in iraq the last time it was being done at the college so my and my little sister opted to just watch my dvd at home. also...HAPPY EASTER SUKI! i hope you got lots of prezzies from the hippity-hop...mwah

It's such fun, isn't it? Dressing up is the best part. And where else in the world could a woman turn to you in a que for the toilet and say, "My husband is having terrible trouble with his heels. He's just taking them off for a while." LOL!

You can't see me but if you look carefully at the one with the crowd and peoples' hands in the air, at the bottom, you can just see BB in her gold top hat and H in her mouse ears, although their faces are obscured by their hands. Hee!

Thank goodness I was sick when I was and not a week later!!

Oh, how fun! I can rarely even find a theater doing midnight showings. *pouts* I can't even get a group together at home for it, because my friends think Rocky Horror is silly. *shakes head at the foolish girls*

Oh it's not silly, it's fun and such a great way to cut loose. Any excuse to wear a saucy costume :oD
