Yesterday I mentioned Forbidden Planet which is where I get all my comics from and a lot of my Buffy/Angel figures and such. Someone on my flist is interested in knowing if there is an American equivalent. Any suggestions?

I expect FP here ships to the 'States but it'd be quicker and maybe cheaper for Americans to have things posted from New York. FP has gone all global! The days when there was only one shop in London are well and truly over. It's still fun to visit the megastore and look for yourself, though. *g*

Not sure if it's an equivalent or not, but I've been getting my comics & paraphernalia online through Mile High Comics (http://www.milehighcomics.com/nice/) for about fifteen years now, as my nearest source is about sixty miles away...

That's great! Thanks for that; I'll pass the info on. It's a pain not living near anywhere that sells this sort of stuff. My nearest shop is about 20 miles away, but it might as well be 120.

Thanks, anyway, hon. You know, I had a dream, way back last year sometime, that I won the lottery and I'd flown you over to live here in the UK and we went to Forbidden planet, and you were choosing which comics you wanted and I was like, hey, get them all! We can afford it! Hee! One day, babe.

As someone said, there's a Forbidden Planet in New York, Mile High is based out of Colorado, Midtown Comics is also based out of New York (Midtowncomics.com) and is the one I usually use, there's also Golden Apple Comics in Los Angeles for the west coasters.
