I have so much do I don't know what to do first!!
So I'll just make a pointless post instead.
Any of you guys seen The Masters of Horror? I'm going to assume it's a Canadian series because, wow, there sure were a lot of SGA actors in it. I counted at least four. Grandad and I watched it over Christmas instead of most of the stupid festive television that was on offer. We really enjoyed it, even thought some of the eps were severley twisted. The d/l had 12 of the eps, but the 13th one, called Imprint was seperate, aparantly because it got banned somewhere along the way; but I thought, hey, how bad could it be? It got aired in some places; it couldn't be all that icky. It was fucking horrific, and this is coming from someone with a strong stomach. I grew up on films like Aliens and Black Christmas, Last House on the Left, I spit on Your Grave, Scum, Demons... Shall I go on? When the film finished, I peered around the Christmas tree and looked at my Grandad. There was silence. Eventually, Grandad said 'That was a bit beyond it' and I said 'Let's promise never to watch that again'. He agreed. We want to watch the second series but we're a little nervous now.
Now, judging or coursework?
Ummmmmmmmmm, judging. Yeah. Maybe.

Date: 2006-12-31 05:59 pm (UTC)A review I read on Imprint said this about season 2 (not spoilery): And seeing how dismal the first couple of episodes in season 2 are (it is currently broadcasting), I'm disappointed this wasn't made available.
So, perhaps season 2 won't be as horrific as you fear. *g*

Phew! Imprint was just the limit! It was very well done, really quite amazing, but I think I'd rather stick to less disturbing eps. Thanks for that!
