OMG, I vibrated like a speedster all the way through. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
You know, I actually had butterflies when I started watching this ep. I was so damn excited and I still am. After a few seconds of 'Previously on Stargate: Atlantis' I realised that I was actually chanting Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney... I stopped myself for all of five seconds before recommencing.
So, did I think it was a good ep? HELL, YES! It was my fav sort of ep. Plenty of action and suspence and comedy and, most importantly, plenty of McShep action. I know you've heard this a thousand times before, but those two are so damn cute together. I think I came a little when Sheppard cuffed Rodney around the head. Touchage! They just can't keep their hands off each other, can they?
What a brilliant plan! I loved the way it all ran back and we got to see what they were really up to.
I thought the underwater scenes were excellent and very suspenseful and I adore O'Neill's dry wit. "Something exploded", "Whatever" and "That's more like a plan F!"
My fav little squee-worthy moment was the bit where Sheppard, Ronan and Weir are patching the jumper roof where the water is coming in and Rodney is trying to open the outer bay door. His computer beeps and his frustrated cry of "Oh, dear." was so cute and funny and gave me a fluttery, fangirly feeling in my tummy.
And the stardrive!! OMG, it nearly took off! Giant space city, dude. I wonder how long it'll take Rodney to figure out how to make that work. That's gonna be awesome.
I loved it, and it was well worth the two month wait and the day long threat of heart failure when no torrents were available. So close yet so far!
Is it next week yet? MORE!
And did anyone watch this week's Heroes? How f'ing good was that?!?!

The top one looks like it would be quickest. Do you have Bitlord or another download client to open the torrent with?
It was really wonderful. All SGA eps should be like that.
If only the networks wouldn't put these shows on such a long hiatus. It's stupid!

Date: 2006-11-22 04:50 pm (UTC)I had faith in my Rodney from the beginning. When he started spilling the plan to Jack and Woolsey I knew what they had in mind. :D
I've read oodles of reviews now and nobody seems to have caught the bit that made me pause while I stopped laughing.
One of the replicators calls the jumper a gateship. Can you imagine the hell Rodney would put John through if he ever heard about that? HEEEEE!

Date: 2006-11-22 05:15 pm (UTC)Gateship!! LMAO! I totally missed that. It just proves how great Rodney really is. We should listen to him more often; he really is a genius.
Wow, I'm still completely buzzing from it. Fantastic stuff. My grandad thinks I've gone nuts because I sat and talked to myself all the way thought it; I was so excited and there was no one else to share that with! LOL!

Date: 2006-11-22 05:22 pm (UTC)Rodney really is a genius, and he's a genius in a city with multiple ZPMs now - enough power to fly the city means enough power for all sorts of things! *BOUNCE*
And Woolsey reminded me so much of my ex-hubby. We'd get home after an evening out, turn on the tv, and if a movie was on and it was partway through, he'd start asking questions like 'What's going on? Why did he say that? Who's she?' like I hadn't spent the last four hours sitting next to him in the pub! GRRR ARGH!

Date: 2006-11-22 05:43 pm (UTC)OMFG, ZPM'S!!!! I can't wait! I hope they do more city exploration now and more underwater stuff. I want to see more of Atlantis with John and Rodney exploring it together and bickering and giving each other love taps. ~g~
Eeek, what an annoying ex-hubby. I feel your pain!
