I only recently found this fic, and I stayed up way too late last week to read through Chapter 10. I have to say that I really love this story. I love the slow progression between Harry and Draco, how they initially came together because of their sons but let their relationship grow on its own merits. I love the boys, how Kasen and James didn't get off to a good start but became fast friends anyway. They are delightfully real as children. Harry and Draco are so believable--I totally buy that Draco fled to escape persecution, and that Harry did the same thing, even if his persecution wasn't as malicious as what happened to Draco. Draco's paranoia about being found is so very honest. As is his insecurity.
I also enjoy the flashbacks, and how you're telling a story within a story through them. It's hard to imagine Harry and Draco getting together back during the war, but it makes more sense with each flashback you post.
I love Draco's internal monologue. Seriously, I've repeatedly burst out laughing as I read the story, he cracks me up.
I do hope Draco and Harry can manage more than snogging soon, but I do enjoy the slow pace. I love how domestic they've become, how attuned to each other they are despite the lack of physical intimacy. You said this is about halfway, so I can't wait to see what happens next. I look forward to your next installment.
