I had to re-read this from the start to remind myself - so not a hardship. Your voices are brilliant, particularly in the early chapters, and the relationship between Buffy and Willow and Xander is wonderful - I loved Xander and Buffy being Willow's worst students. But all the conversations between Buffy and Willow and Xander and Giles are so spot on, they make me smile like crazy.
Xander's hesitant eagerness and his fears, with Spike, are very real to his character and Spike's indulgent patience is sweet. While Angel's concern and irritation, even as he worries about both Xander and Spike, are great.
This is also the best portrayal I have ever read of Xander's parents. You do them justice in a way I have never seen before. But all the characters are have such wonderful detail, and their own concerns, which don't feel like they were designed only to further the storyline. It makes for a rich and satisfying read. Thank you.
