Wow, thank you so much! What a wonderful review. This fic is my baby so I'm trying to get the characters' personalities as close to canon as possible. The main thing is to make the whole story believable, like it could have happened for real.

As for Xander's parents, I've never thought they were all bad or all good. They're a bit of both and I think they do love Xander very much. They just don't always know how to show that or how to behave like parents should.
