Edit It's half time and England are leading 1-0 with a goal in the first three minutes. It was an own goal by Paraguay, but Beckham set it up and it would have gone in anyway. Hee! Also, I think I'm in love with one of the Paraguay platers. More on that later.

2nd Edit Despite a shabby second half England won 1-0. Yay!!!!! And I may have changed my mind about the Paraguay player. I'm not interested in him enough to look into it further.

Congratulations!! You may have gathered that Teenage Dirtbag is one of my faves. Congrats to England as well, couldn't have Paraguay win could we. Were is Paraguay anyway, must have been one of the classes I slept through.

Hmmm, i've not heard of the majority of those fics. but then i wander around in a very small slashy world I suppose. Still I thought I would recognize a few more things.
I went backwards to other rounds to see winning stories but even though the page says click on the award to read the story there isn't a link.

Woah congrats honey *hugs* an to the other guys too obviously lol. lol you were oogling Paraguay? *grins* I was just glancing from toime to time whilst online, second half I barely glanced at all.

Was manic down the pub in the evening, such a great atmosphere, though my *guy-who-is-a-mate-yet-getting-it-on-with* was down there with the lads, completely ratarsed since they'd been down there all day. God knows how but this morning they woke up in womens clothes lol.

I'm sick of all the football. I know more about one man's metatarsal than a girl should know. Of course being from north of the border it's in my genes not to support England. Honestly I couldn't care less about the football even if Scotland were in the World Cup. When I turn on the news I expect to see actual world events. Sport does not qualify as a leading story.
